"Keeps students interested"
My students stay engaged with it. That has been a big plus. Some of the tasks do start to feel repetitive after a while. Still, it works well overall.

"I like that with IXL there are…"
I like that with IXL there are tons of skills for math and English, so my kid can practice the stuff they are needing. Some of the sections do feel a little repetitive, in my opinion, but overall it’s been useful.

"Good for after-school math practice"
We started using IXL for some extra math practice for my son, it’s been useful. I’m usually a little skeptical when programs use all that polished “personalized learning” kind of language, because half the time it just sounds like marketing. But in this case, it actually does adjust when he gets questions wrong. If he misses a few, it backs up a bit and gives him simpler problems, which helps show where he’s getting stuck. It’s not flashy or anything, but it keeps him from just guessing his way through. I don’t have to set up much, and I can still see how he’s doing. For after school, it’s been a solid help

"Support was surprisingly not a nightmare"
I had an issue logging into my kid’s ixl account and, i was already bracing myself for the usual customer support runaround. You know, 12 emails, weird instructions, and somehow still no fix. But nope, they got back to me quickly, explained what happened in normal human words, and fixed it without turning it into a whole project. The person was actually nice too, which shouldn’t feel rare, but somehow it does. Anyway, everything’s working now and I’m genuinely happy with how they handled it.

"Easy to Use, Unlike Some Others"
IXL has been easy for us to use. The menus actually make sense, and I can get to the subjects without wasting time clicking all over the place, which feels like more than I can say for a few other learning sites. My kid can find lessons quickly too, so it doesn’t turn into a whole search mission every time. The layout is simple, clear, and not confusing

"I’ve been using ixl.com with my kid, the..."
I’ve been using ixl.com with my kid, the answer checking has been really solid. Like, it catches mistakes right away, but it also gives credit when the answer is typed in a normal, correct way. We really haven’t run into many weird grading issues at all. It just makes the practice feel less frustrating and, you know, easier to trust.

IXL made me mad sometimes, especially when I kept missing questions, but I’ll admit it helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. It’s not always fun to use, but in the end, I think it’s useful if you actually want to improve

"Really helpful for learning from mistakes"
ixl has been super helpful, especially with the feedback. When my son gets an answer wrong, it doesn’t just say “wrong” and move on. It actually explains what happened and gives a clear example, so he can figure out how to fix it himself. Some of the explanations are a bit too long sometimes, but overall it saves me alot of time. He can practice and learn from his mistakes without me having to sit right next to him the whole time.

"Actually helps, finally"
I’ve been using this and, it really helps me improve. I’m not the most patient person, so I like that I can see progress without feeling like I’m wasting time.

"Really Helpful for Tracking Progress"
I’ve been impressed with IXL so far. It makes it super easy to see what my kid is getting better at, and the progress tracking is really clear without feeling overwhelming. It’s nice to know exactly what we should focus on next, which makes the whole learning process feel a lot less stressful

"Made My Mistakes Easy to Spot"
This really helped me figure out what I was doing wrong quickly. A lot of the mistakes I was making were preventable, and seeing them laid out clearly made it much easier to fix them and move on...

"SmartScore feels fair"
I actually like the SmartScore on IXL, it doesn’t feel like my kid gets totally slammed for one wrong answer. The score moves up and down, sure, but it still feels fair... and it kind of makes them slow down a bit, notice mistakes, and try again.

"Helpful practice, even if it repeats a bit"
I’ve been using the lessons for extra practice, and overall they’ve been helpful. Some topics do feel a little repetitive after a while, but I guess that also helped things stick. Small win for me: I noticed I’m answering a few questions faster now than when I started, so it’s definitely doing something.

"Helpful for me, but a little repetitive"
I do feel like it helps me learn, which is really the main thing I care about. But after a while, I start noticing the same questions popping up again and again, and that gets a bit boring for me. It’s still useful practice, I just wish it mixed things up more.

"Helpful for Class and Home"
I use IXL with my students and also with my kid at home, and it’s been really helpful. The teacher reports are simple to understand, and the parent updates make it easy for me to see what my child still needs to practice. It’s not the flashiest program out there, but it saves me time, and the kids know exactly what they should focus on.

"IXL has been okay for keeping my kid…"
IXL has been okay for keeping my kid practicing, and the points do help a little with motivation. The small awards are fun at first and make it feel kind of like a game. But after a while, there’s just something about it that starts to feel repetitive, and my kid stops caring about the rewards as much. I do wish there was more variety or something a bit more exciting when they finish skills.

"Pretty Smooth Overall"
IXL loads really fast for us, and I was going to say it never glitches, but okay, almost never. My kid can get through lessons without the pages freezing up, which is the main thing I care about.

"Shockingly Easy to Cancel"
I was bracing myself for a whole dramatic billing nightmare, but canceling was ridiculously quick. Like, I almost didn’t believe it was actually done. No weird extra charges showed up either, which felt like a small miracle

"Wish We Had Started Using IXL Sooner"
We use IXL for homeschooling, it fits into our days really well. My son can work on math and language in short chunks, which keeps things from feeling overwhelming, and I like being able to see exactly what he missed. It’s not perfect every single time, but it has definitely made lessons easier for us. My only regret is that we didn’t try it sooner.
